Students will collaborate, and have partner discussions. They will also blend sounds to make one-syllable words and blend sounds to make words. Students will read and spell commonly used sight words too.
Math
Students will count forward by ones to 110, they will practice counting starting at any number between 0 and 110. They will also write the numbers 0 to 110 in sequence and out of sequence.
Science
Students will discuss scientific and engineering practices. They will investigate and understand that objects can move in different ways. They will continue to discuss how animals, including humans, have basic life needs that allow them to survive.
Social Studies
Students will recognize map symbols including land, water, cities, roads, etc. Students will discuss cardinal directions on maps and create a simple map.
