What are we learning?

Language Arts

• We are continuing to learn about print through research
• We are starting to research our animals in writing 
• We are learning about vowel teams (ai/ay, ee/ea)

Math

• We will begin learning about fractions and data analysis

Science

• We will begin learning about seeds, plant parts, and planting
• We will also continue to learn about plant needs

Social Studies

• We will begin learning about needs and wants as well as earning and saving money.  
• We are continuing to celebrate Black History Month

• What might you do to earn or save money?
• What do plants need to survive?
• After reading a book, you can ask, what was the main idea of the book? Who were the characters in the book? Where does the story take place?
