What are we learning?

Language Arts

• This month we are finishing up our unit on Critical Literacy. 
• The students will be learning about context clues in the final week of the unit. 

Math

• Students have started the geometry unit. 
• Students will learn to identify the name of a shape based on the number of sides. 
• They will also learn to identify a line, line segment, ray, and an angle. 

Science

• At this time we have finished the second quarter water cycle unit. 

Social Studies

• We will be studying Ancient Egypt. 
• We will talk about their inventions, climates, economics, and architecture. 
• We will also talk about how Ancient Egypt impacted our lives today.
