What are we learning?
Language Arts
This month we are learning about important people through our Biography and Autobiography unit!
We are also writing realistic fiction stories using Book Creator!
Math
This month we are finishing our addition and subtraction part 2 unit where we add and subtract numbers up to 4 digits! (Ex: 4,832 + 2,391)
We will also complete our measurement unit where students will measure length and volume!
Science
Our Science unit this quarter focuses on Soil and all the different components within it. Be on the lookout! We will be asking students to bring in soil from their home environments so we can make observations about the diverse range of soils in our world.
Social Studies
For social studies, we are talking about Ancient China! Feel free to find some books and documentaries your child could look at to learn more about this incredible civilization!
