Language Arts

• Reading: We are learning about critical literacy.
• Writing: We are learning about persuasive writing.

Math

• We are learning about decimals.

Social Studies

• We are learning about the U.S. following the Revolutionary War.

Questions to ask your child at home.

• How is it possible to have the same value using different units? (ones, tenths, etc.)
• What can you ask about a text in order to be a critical reader?

Second Step

• We are now in the third unit of the second-step lessons. 
• This unit focuses on empathy and kindness.
