What are we learning?

Language Arts

  • We are still engaging in Narrative Non-fiction and Non-fiction text. 
  • In writing, we are working on our drafts and final copies of our Narrative Non-fiction writing prompt.

Math

  • We are currently working on decimal computation and learning how to divide decimals. 
  • Next, we will be moving on to fraction computation where we will solve single and multistep practical problems involving addition and subtraction with fractions and mixed numbers. We also will learn how to solve single-step multiplication problems that involve a whole number up to 12 and a proper fraction. 

Science

  • We are still learning about changes that happen to the Earth over time through plate tectonics. 
  • Next, we will be learning about weathering, erosion, deposition and rock formation, and the identification of rocks.

Social Studies

  • We are still learning about the ancient civilizations.
