What are we learning?

Language Arts

• We are in our Poetry Unit! Students have already written a Free Verse and Cinquain Poem. They will be writing an Acrostic and Concrete poem next! 
• Log on to get your units in on Lexia at home.

Math

• We have begun our unit on Algebraic Reasoning. Students are learning about variables and algebraic expressions. 
• Practice Variables and Equations on ST math at home.

Science

• We are having hands-on experiences making circuits during our Magnetism and Electricity Unit! 
• Remember to study your science vocabulary and anchor charts in your science notebook daily.

Social Studies

• We will be beginning our Content Research unit soon with the start of our GATP (Global Awareness Technology Project)

Updates & Information

• We are sending science notebooks home each day for students to study each night. Please remind students to bring them back to school every day. 
• Students may log onto Lexia and ST Math at home daily. 
• We are beginning to notice some behaviors and extra talking during class time. Please help us by reinforcing school expectations.
