Updates on Our Learning:

• Science- We are about to move into our Magnetism & Electricity Unit! 
• Social Studies- We are about to start our GATP (Global Awareness Technology Project). Students will be able to choose an ancient civilization or country to research change over time 
• Math- We are finishing up our unit on Fraction Computation and will be beginning our next unit on Algebraic Reasoning 
• Language Arts- We are moving on to our Poetry unit and will be writing our own pieces of poetry 

Charging Laptops 

• Please be sure students are charging their laptops each night before they come to school. There are many students who have no battery at the beginning of the school day. A lot of our assignments are on the computer and/or involve students logging on to certain websites to meet their usage for the week.
