Updates on Our Learning:

• In social studies, we are continuing to learn about the events leading up to the Revolutionary War and also key events that happened during the Revolutionary War. We are excited that students are going to learn about DBQ’s and carry out a micro DBQ involving the Revolutionary War. DBQ stands for Document-Based Question. We are going to provide a document to students and have them analyze the document and answer a question based on their interpretation of the document.
• We met with our reading buddies this month to read our narrative nonfiction children's books to them. Both the pre-k students and our sixth graders had fun meeting and reading together.
