Hello, 4th grade families! We hope that you have a relaxing and safe winter break. We are excited to continue learning with your students in the new year!

Language Arts
What are we learning?
- We will be learning about historical fiction texts and writing historical fiction stories.
Home/School Connection
- Discuss different historical time periods and what they think it would have been like to live back then.
Math
What are we learning?
- We will continue learning and solving multiplication and division problems.
Home/School Connection
- It is very helpful for your student to know their basic multiplication facts.
- ST Math, Multiplication.com, and the multiplication choice board on the Schoology page are all great ways to practice multiplication.
Science
What are we learning?
We are wrapping up ecosystems, plants, and habitats. Our next unit will be learning about oceans.

Social Studies
What are we learning?
We will be learning about Jamestown and life during Colonial Times.
