What are we learning?

• We are learning about letter sounds and finding letters with words.
• We are learning about nonfiction books.
• We are also learning that writers can teach others about the things they know.

Home/School Connection

• You can support your student by working on reviewing letter and letter sounds and practicing rhyming words. You can also have your child log on to Lexia using their iPads.

Math

What are we learning?

• We are learning how to compose and decompose numbers.

Home/School Connection

• You can support your student at home by counting forward to 50, counting backward from 10, and talking about what number comes before and or after.

Science

What are we learning?

• We are learning about the weather.

Social Studies

What are we learning?

• We are learning about how things change over time as well as community jobs.
