Dear Parents!!! This has been a great year of learning in 2nd grade!! We have enjoyed getting to know each and every one of your children. The last 2 weeks of school, we have some fun theme days planned!! Please allow your child to participate and donate in any way. Have a great summer!!!

What are we learning?

  • Please make sure students are reading everyday for at least 20 minutes. Students should also be working on Lexia and ST Math daily.

Math

What are we learning?

  • Unit 9 Data & Graphing 
    • In this unit, students collect, organize, analyze, and interpret categorical data using picture graphs, pictographs, and bar graphs. Students interpret these graphical representations by creating and solving addition and subtraction problems using the displayed data.

Home/School Connection

  • Ask questions at home to survey the family and find the results!

Science

Find plants at home to take care of. Connect to all of the things living organisms need to survive.
