What are we learning?

Language Arts

• We have now learned all the letters in the alphabet
• We are learning about introducing the concept of long vowels (a,e, i,o,u)
• We are learning about the words

Math

• We are learning about number combinations to 3,4 and 5
• We are also learning about identifying dot patterns to 6

Science

• We are learning about weather and weather types.  

Social Studies

• We are learning about consequences and how individual choices influence them.

Questions to ask your child at home.

• What letter always needs to be next to Q when spelling words (u!)
• What two number combinations to 3? (ex: 2 and 1, 3 and 0, etc)
• I heard you are learning about the New Year. What is a goal that you are setting for yourself this year?
