What are we learning?

• We are learning about ending letter sounds and finding letters with words. We are learning about elements of research. We are learning how writers can research things they care about. 

Home/School Connection

Have your child show the animal we are researching as a class on Pebble Go & MyOn. Talk to your child about the animal they are individually researching.

Math

What are we learning?

• We are learning about measurement, money, and graphs.

Home/School Connection

• Have your child measure family members. Have them use words like shortest, longer, and tallest while talking about measuring. 
• Have your child interview family members on their favorite dessert. Have them tally answers.

Science

What are we learning?

• We are learning about Ants and recycling.

Home/School Connection

• Look for ants and other bugs in your neighborhood. How are they similar and different?
• Use a recycling product at home to create something new.
