Updates on Our Learning:

• LIBRARY - Ask your K-2 child to retell you the tiny toy tale: The Gingerbread Man with motions and sound effects.  Upper-grade students have been learning about gender bias online.  Remember to read over break :) 
• STEAM - 2nd grade learned about regular and irregular polygons
• GENERAL MUSIC
  • Students in all grades are singing songs of the Winter Holiday season. Students in grades 5-6 are using classroom percussion instruments to create a soundtrack for a small portion of the movie Peter and the Wolf.
  • Students in grades K, 1, and 3 are learning about Peter Tchaikovsky’s Nutcracker Ballet. Grade 2 students are learning about the composer Franz Joseph Haydn. Fourth-grade students are learning about the composer Mozart.
