1. End of Year SMARTR Outcome

By June 2020, the SOA achievement gap for Students with Disabilities will decrease by 30% as measured by 2020 SOL Reading Test. 

Strategy 1  Instructional staff in grades K-6 will implement with fidelity a rigorous Balanced Literacy approach. 

Strategy 2 Bucknell will use a multi-tiered system of support to align instruction and intervention with the individual needs of students. 

2. End of Year SMARTR Outcome

By June 2020, the SOA pass rate in Science will increase to 80%  as measured by the 2020 Science SOL Test. 

Strategy 1 Teachers in grades kindergarten through sixth will implement at least two PBL units integrating science. 

Strategy 2 Students will have more opportunities for hands on science activities.

3. End of Year SMARTR Outcome

In the spring of 2020, 100% of classrooms will provide students with instructional experiences using the AAP curriculum.

Strategy 1  Bucknell ES will provide a continuum of advanced academic services across Levels I-III.

Strategy 2 Classroom teachers will use AAP curriculum guides to infuse the AAP curriculum, strategies, practices, and resources into their instructional program.
