We are beginning to get into the cold/flu season. Please practice teaching your child how to blow their nose and remind them to cough in their elbow to help stop the spread of germs. Please make sure you are packing winter wear for recess. If your child needs winter wear clothing email our Parent Liaison: @email

What are we learning?

Language Arts

• We are learning about the letters r and f. 
• We are learning about removing the first syllable in two-syllable words to segment words.
• We are learning about the components of rhyme. 
• We are learning about authors and illustrators and books with the same character are in a series

Math

• We are learning about comparing sets of objects by using math terms like more than, less than, and the same.
• We are working on counting and writing numbers up to 20.
• We are learning to recognize dot patterns quickly. 

Science

• We are learning about the past vs the present.
• We are learning about how things change over time. 
• We are learning about health lessons and taking care of our bodies.
