What are we learning?
Language Arts
We are in the middle of our critical literacy unit. During this unit, we will be having students look at text and determine bias that might be present.
We are continuing to work on prefixes, learning their meanings and how that changes the meaning of a word.
Students will also be creating a fractured fairytale.
Math
Students will Identify and draw representations of points, lines, line segments, rays, and angles.
Students will learn to name different polygons based on their number sides.
Students will work on remembering their multiplication facts.
Science
Students will investigate the water cycle and how water moves through the system.
How we clean water to make it drinkable.
Students will begin to understand that water is a limited resource.
Social Studies
Students will investigate the contributions of ancient cultures and civilizations and how they continue to impact our world today.

Go on a shape hunt with your student. Look for cubes, spheres, rectangular prisms, and pyramids.
Count by 2,5, and 10 with your student.
