What are we learning?

Language Arts

• We have begun our research unit. 
• The students will be choosing a topic and researching that topic. 
• The students will create a presentation to share what they have learned with others. 

Math

• Students will work on adding and subtracting 4-digit numbers. Ex. 4,567 - 2,984 = 
• Students will write and read numbers with 6 digits. Ex: 675,120

Science

• This month we will be completing our social studies unit. Our next science unit will begin in March. 

Social Studies

• This month we will be learning about important people in History. 
• In third grade, we study Rosa Parks, Harriett Tubman, Elenor Roosevelt, Susie B. Anthony, Cesar Chavez, and Abraham Lincoln.

• What topic are you researching?
• What have you learned about your topic?
• What new people have you learned about this month?
• Give your child an addition or subtraction equation.
